We trust you have been having a glorious year of favor.
The Month of April for us is A Month of Testimony. It is a month to take our stand on God’s Word concerning us through our proclamations of faith.
Revelations 12:11 says “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
In Christianity, the importance of the spoken word of God cannot be overemphasized; God’s word proclaimed from our lips is the vocalization of our faith. In this month of Testimony, the Spirit of God is leading us to take our stand on his Word and through that word chart our course unto victory.
In scripture, there are several exciting and glorious testimonies about our divine life in Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours”, Hallelujah! God’s testimony, his declaration of truth concerning the new creation in Christ, concerning you is that all things belong to you. Glory to God!
Another exciting testimony of God concerning us is in 1 John 5:4. It says “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”. God has testified that we, being born of him, are world-overcomers. Hallelujah!
Indeed, the scriptures are replete with glorious testimonies of us. Little wonder the bible declares in Psalm 87:3; Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God.
This month of April, take time to testify, declare what you know about you from God’s Word. What is your testimony concerning your finances? What is your testimony concerning your health, your job, your family, your relationship with the Lord?
Remember, God is always excited to see us take a stand on his Word. Make up your mind today that it is what God has declared about you that will come to pass in your life.
